Valet Parking Operator permit (Police Commission) + LADOT valet zone: Los Angeles restaurant guide

LA Police Commission / LADOT

What it is

Valet parking in the City requires a Board of Police Commissioners Valet Parking Operation permit (master permit plus "Add Location"), permits for attendants, and — if cars are staged at the curb — an LADOT valet zone.

Offering valet parking at your restaurant (through your own staff or a valet company).

How to apply

Download the Valet Parking (Master / Add Location) application, email the completed packet to pcpermitapplications@lapd.online, attend the in-person appointment, pay fees at the Office of Finance and complete the background investigation; apply to LADOT for a curbside valet zone.
